We are incredibly proud to be co-principal's of Newcomb Primary School.   

It is a friendly, vibrant and highly motivated learning community. We were motivated to lead this highly regarded school because of its reputation for innovation, it's commitment to the whole child where the person you are is as important as the high levels of learning outcomes they are inspired to achieve. Renowned for its inclusiveness and its passion to educate the whole child- ‘heart, head, body and soul’- we understand that the education we give young people is the greatest gift of all and it is not only a responsibility, but a privilege.

At Newcomb PS we have high expectations in everything we do. We expect children to be well behaved, be proud of their appearance and uniform and to be well mannered. Our approach to positive behaviour is proactive and centres of self-discipline, self-esteem and reflective processes always building on strengths and good choices. We offer strategies and teach social skills to students and offer them choices and positive options. With everyone working together our students enjoy learning and playing in a happy and safe school. We embrace the positive learning culture. The school Values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience are promoted at all times together with the School Wide Positive Behaviour approach with everything that we do. 

At Newcomb Primary we believe strongly in the development of future learners. Today's technology is rapidly changing and we must accommodate and predict these changes through our approach to teaching & learning. We have comprehensive programs and extremely well resourced classrooms with ipads, netbooks, interactive whiteboards and high definition televisions in every classroom. We embrace this technology and allow students to move rapidly into new fields with their learning. 

The website provides general information about our school and our Facebook and Instagram pages are alive with news and amazing photographs and movies of our adventures and learning. The staff and students are continually building on the content to make our online spaces including the Class Dojo and Facebook page interactive and informative for parents, students, past students and prospective parents.
