Canteen Menu

Our lunches are provided by the Newcomb Secondary School Canteen.  Please send along a paper bag with your child's name and order on it with the correct money inside for payment.

Class Structure

Newcomb Primary School offers multi-age settings.  This year we have 2 Prep classes, a Year 1/2 class, a Year 2/3 class, 2 Year 4/5 classes and a Year 6 class.

Parent Involvement

Parents are encouraged to participate in our school community via; school council sub committees, parent helpers in classrooms and attendance on excursions.  We are proud of the number of parents involved in our school and encourage any parents who would like to be involved to contact the office or a classroom teacher.

Parents & Friends Sub Committee

This group of parents meet regularly, exploring opportunities for fundraising at the school and ways to enhance the school community, and report to school council on a monthly basis.

Student Diaries
Each student is provided with a school diary.  This can be used to communicate with the classroom teacher and all students are required to record their home reading in their diary each day.

Teachers on Duty

The yard is always supervised by teachers between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm.  If your child is hurt in the yard and requires first aid she/he will be sent to the first aid room where she/he will be taken care of. If medical attention is required you will be contacted immediately.  A number of staff have Level 2 First Aid qualifications.
